Icing
If your air charter is to incur icing, the aircraft must be certified for known icing. Aircraft that are not certified for known icing, can not depart if icing is forecasted for your route.
Most icing conditions are light to moderate and can be taken care of by the aircraft’s de-icing systems. However, if the icing becomes sever, the aircraft will have to deviate out of the ice, as their systems may not be able to completely de-ice the aircraft.
If icing conditions exist, it is quite possible they exist on the ground and may require the aircraft to be de-iced before it’s next flight. If so, de-icing charges may apply to the cost of your charter, and will be additional. Please see additional costs for more information.
