Referrals
Companies in the travel business, such as air charter operators, fixed based operators, travel agents, and concierge who refer business to Air Denver receive up to a five percent commission from Air Denver on trips that Air Denver completes. Air Denver normally charges ten percent for it’s services, and splits it’s commission with the companies that refer trips to us. On larger trips, ten percent may result in the total cost being over the customer’s budget. On these occasions, Air Denver will lower it’s commission. Nevertheless, whatever we receive, we split with the referring company.
Note: Referral checks cannot be issued to an individual employee of a company unless Air Denver has received a letter from the company for whom the individual works stating that it is acceptable for that individual to receive the referral commission. When checks are issued to individuals, please expect a 1099 IRS form from Air Denver at year end. Sorry, but we must comply with the law!
