Footprints In The Sky - Helping those in need.

Know someone who needs to go to the Mayo Clinic or another medical center for critical life-saving treatments, but cannot negotiate today's modern airports? Or they cannot sit in the restrictive seats of commercial air carriers? Or they just cannot afford the cost?

There is an option. "FOOTPRINTS in The Sky", a Colorado 501(c)(3) may be able to assist with a flight. To meet our criteria, a patient must be able to travel without needing any medically-specific, life-sustaining equipment. Additionally, a letter from the attending physician is required, stating the patient cannot fly commercially, and/or is in a hardship situation and cannot afford the airlines.

FOOTPRINTS, in conjunction with Charters by Air Denver, a "North American Air Charter Referral Service," will try to match the patient's itinerary with one of the several hundred one-way flights that Air Denver receives daily. These are charter flights that have already been paid for, round trip, but the customer has only used one segment of the flight.

If a charter aircraft is not available, Johnny Langland, the President and Founder of FOOTPRINTS will try to provide a Corporate or Private aircraft for the patient.

FOOTPRINTS is currently working on obtaining their own aircraft. A Denver based jet would give them a much-needed, immediate-response flight capability. Providing this type of emergency service would make FOOTPRINTS unique within the industry.

Although the aircraft are provided without cost, FOOTPRINTS asks for a minimum $100 donation per passenger, to assist with administrative and logistics costs.
